Playful popcorn to put a little POP in your day.
Petal Pop is a package design that allows you to easily share popcorn with your loved ones. Petal pop was originally inspired by the thought of giving someone a flower. Especially during the pandemic, we are not able to see our loved ones and the thought of sending someone special a gift is a nice gesture to let them know you are thinking of them. At the bottom of the containers are sweet messages that can be read once the popcorn is finished to add a little happiness to the receiver’s day.
Unfold and watch the flower bloom!
The package was designed so that when it is open, it unfolds so that there is a greater opening for people to share the snack. This concept was influenced by the process in which flowers bloom, they start as a bud and when it opens up the flower blooms. The visuals of the package mimic real flowers, the outside green to look like a bud and you are able to see the popcorn from the top which looks like the pollen of a flower.
Never ending flavours and fun.
Petal Pop comes in 3 different flavours; Butter, Caramel and Cheddar. Each one with different, sweet messages to give to someone you love. The flavours are differentiated based on colour at the top of the container. This way users will have a surprise with every batch of popcorn they receive!
