2019 Toronto Chinatown Festival Poster
The above poster was created for the 2019 Toronto Chinatown Festival, designed in both English and Chinese text. The text "2019 Toronto Chinatown Festival 多倫多 華埠節 is hand-written by me. The background of the poster is a Chinese lantern that has been image traced, showing an image that is easy to identify while not looking fully realistic. The poster is intended to be printed in the size of 20 x 30 inches.
2019 Toronto Chinatown Festival Tickets
Double-sided tickets were made for the event, utilizing the same lantern background and handwritten event title. One side of the ticket is in English and the other side is in Chinese. There is a tear-off section at the end of the ticket that displays a Chinese coin, symbolizing the token of entry to the event (even though the event is free to enter). The visuals of the Chinese lantern and Chinese coin serve the purpose of connecting people who attend the event to celebrating and appreciating Chinese culture.

The trifold brochure for this event includes brief background information of the history of the event, what the theme is, and some highlights to look out for in the events line up. There is a section explaining the main Features and Attractions of the event, along with a simple map for users to use when attending the event. Included in the brochure is also a detailed schedule outlining the specific times for each feature and attraction happening per event day.
