About
Nikki is a designer, photographer, illustrator, 3D modeler, and all around creative. She either spends her spare time outside or tending to her excessive plant collection. Professionally, she is driven and inspired by the creation of functional, innovative and beautiful works that are as visually appealing as they are useful. Stylistically she is an amalgamation of techniques from different areas always looking to innovate in new and unexpected ways. She takes pride in this diversity as it not only gives her a more creative perspective when taking on new projects, but a wider array of tools and techniques to build off of when approaching new challenges.

Case Studies
The ARI Exhibition
The ARI Exhibition is a hypothetical art exhibit and design campaign for the MoMA. I imagined the exhibit to consist of portrait photography from which sculptors would then create renaissance inspired busts to be displayed side by side. I created The ARI Exhibition to highlight and amalgamate my passions for photography, fine art and design. For this project, I not only shot and retouched all the portraits, but I digitally manipulated each photo to look like sculptures, as well as creating the advertisement poster, social media campaign, tickets and catalogue book.
MOON
The MOON tampon compact and reusable applicators were designed to help women achieve a more beautiful, convenient, sustainable and cost effective period. MOON products are designed to last a lifetime, only needing to repurchase the tampons themselves, drastically reducing cost and waste over time. The product includes 3 applicators so users can refresh every 4 hours if they are out for 12 hours, eliminating the need to wash or reuse applicators while out. The product measures 12cm x 12cm x 4.5cm making it small enough to carry with ease but large enough to hold everything you would need in a day. Say hello to sustainable and beautiful feminine hygiene and goodbye this waste period in product history.
Roots & Ray
My complete obsession with plants and my passion for illustration took form in this project. Roots and Ray is an online plant store with plans to expand into offering art prints in their upcoming brick and mortar store. The target market is millennials aged 23-38 who are interested in decor and plants. This project includes illustrative prints, a complete brand identity, plant specific illustrative package design, web design, and a social media campaign.
